The growing number of wolf sightings in the Opole region has sparked interest among both residents and livestock farmers. During the conference, representatives from the scientific community, nature reserves, public administration, and private companies had the opportunity to share their experiences and recommendations.

Speaking on behalf of Horizont Rolos, Mateusz Lewandowski addressed the topic of wolf-human encounters. He explained in which cases such situations are completely natural and not cause for concern, and when they require special attention. In his presentation, he also highlighted practical solutions for farm protection and livestock security, including the use of appropriate electric fences and modern deterrents.

Our presentation was well received by conference participants. Many farmers asked questions about specific ways to protect their herds, which shows that this topic is not only timely but also very necessary.

Why is it worth talking about wolves?

Wolves are a protected species, and their presence in Polish forests is a sign of a healthy environment.
